Procedure for cleaning up petroleum spills:

1. Place the material on the oil spill and let it work.

The liquid is quickly absorbed into the fabric until the sorption capacity is fully saturated (the fabric takes on a uniform dark color).

2. Regenerate the saturated mats.

Remove the saturated mats from the surface, fold them, and wring them out. Regenerating by wringing out the mats allows you to: - minimize the amount of sorbent used - separate the captured liquid.

3. Replace the mats if they are completely saturated or damaged during the wringing process.

Remove the used mats and store them in a designated hazardous materials container.
