Refurbished 600-liter IBC containers are stackable containers with an inner liner made of UV-stabilized high-density polyethylene (HDPE). They are suitable for industrial use or as service water tanks (we do not recommend them for watering flower beds and gardens—the containers have been chemically cleaned). IBC containers can be reused repeatedly in various industrial sectors without further cleaning; however, they cannot be used in the food or pharmaceutical industries. Handled using forklifts. The IBC container includes an outer frame made of galvanized steel and a plastic pallet. The relatively wide variety of accessories allows IBC containers to be used under various operating conditions. All parts of the IBC container are recyclable and replaceable; we perform refurbishment directly at our facility.
It is possible to use a cleaned IBC container as a reservoir for irrigation water, but only at the customer’s own risk. To eliminate any risk, however, we recommend purchasing a REKO container with a new inner liner. The material of the new inner liner in REKO IBC containers is certified for food contact. This gives the customer 100% assurance that the irrigation water does not contain even trace amounts of the container’s original contents.
