We Offset Our Carbon Footprint with the Clean Advantage Program

At Obal Centrum, we spend a lot of time on the road. Delivering products to our customers means driving thousands of kilometres every year. However, we care about the impact our operations have on the environment. That is why we have joined the Clean Advantage program, which enables us to offset the CO₂ emissions generated by our vehicle fleet.

We Care About the Environment

We strive to operate responsibly and believe that every small step makes a difference. For example, whenever possible, we reuse cardboard boxes for packaging and heat our warehouse using a heat pump powered by renewable energy.

Due to the nature of our business, significantly reducing the number of kilometres we drive is not always possible. That's why we joined the CCS Clean Advantage program. For every litre of fuel purchased with our fuel card, the program estimates the CO₂ emissions produced by our vehicles and invests in internationally certified carbon offset projects across Europe and around the world.

10,445 kg of CO₂ Offset

Last year alone, we offset a total of 10,445 kilograms of CO₂ through the Clean Advantage program.

On behalf of our company, CCS invests in certified carbon offset projects that help offset, reduce, or capture carbon emissions. These initiatives include:

• 🌳 reforestation and forest restoration projects,
• 💨 the construction of wind power plants,
• ♻️ methane capture projects that generate alternative sources of energy.

We are proud to contribute to more responsible business practices and help reduce the environmental impact of our operations through the Clean Advantage program.
