Level of Protection

• It is ideally suited for Type 5 protection [dry particles], as it forms a barrier against particles while remaining highly breathable. The breathable fabric prevents the “bellows effect,” meaning that particles are not actively drawn in through stitching holes, the collar, the zipper, or around the wrists and ankles. This is a common problem with non-breathable coveralls.
• Due to its effective liquid repellency, it is also suitable for many Type 6 applications [limited liquid spray]. It is also partially suitable for warm environments, where it will most likely be used effectively due to its high breathability.

Features

• The use of a two-layer nonwoven polypropylene fabric increases strength and resistance to tearing and puncturing, ensuring the coverall’s durability.
• The use of a double layer of microfiber fabric, sandwiched between the polypropylene layers, provides excellent particle barrier performance. The fabric filters out 99.69% of particles measuring 3–3.5 µm.
• The garment is certified to EN 1149.1 and is antistatic.
• The fabric is soft, lightweight, and flexible. The combination of these properties with high breathability results in a very comfortable coverall
• Excellent liquid repellency provides good protection even against less hazardous liquid chemicals
• The 1500 coverall features a new zipper with a sealed flap to prevent dust from entering through the zipper
• A fully elastic hood and elastic cuffs around the ankles and wrists provide maximum comfort and protection

Effective protection against asbestos

The 1500 coverall meets all recommendations issued by the HSE (Health and Safety Executive) as part of its licensing requirements (complies with EN 340, Category 3, Types 5 and 6).
