Refurbished IBC containers from various manufacturers and pallet types, with a capacity of 1,000 liters, are stackable containers featuring an inner tank made of UV-stabilized high-density polyethylene (HDPE) that is resistant to most chemicals; they are suitable for industrial use or as service water tanks. The undamaged inner container of the IBC container is chemically cleaned and rinsed with hot water. The IBC container can be reused repeatedly in various industrial sectors without further cleaning; however, it cannot be used in the food or pharmaceutical industries. Handling is performed using forklifts. The IBC container includes an outer frame made of galvanized steel and a plastic pallet. The wide 150 mm top lid allows for easy emptying, for example, using a sludge pump. The relatively wide variety of accessories allows IBC containers to be used under various operating conditions. All parts of the IBC container are recyclable and replaceable; we perform refurbishment directly at our facility.

Using a cleaned IBC container as a reservoir for irrigation water is possible, but only at the customer’s own risk. To eliminate any risk, however, we recommend purchasing a REKO container with a new inner liner. This gives the customer 100% certainty that the irrigation water does not contain even trace amounts of the container’s original contents. The material of the new inner liner in REKO IBCs is certified for food contact.
