Instructions for cleaning the nylon filter:

Cleaning the nylon filter in the upper lid of the IBC tank is essential for maintaining its optimal performance and effective filtration of liquids. The following procedure will show you how to clean it properly:

  1. Remove the inlet pipe to the upper tank cap and unscrew the cap. Carefully remove the cap, including the nylon filter, which may be clogged with dirt.
  2. After removing the upper tank cover, remove the nylon filter from its location in the center hole so as not to damage it.
  3. If the nylon filter is heavily clogged with dirt, you can first remove coarse dirt manually or with a brush. This will reduce the load during deeper cleaning.
  4. Prepare a container with warm water and soak the nylon filter in it. Warm water will help loosen deposits and dirt.
  5. Gently shake and clean the nylon filter in warm water. You can use a mild detergent or soap if necessary, but avoid using harsh chemicals that could damage the filter.
  6. Rinse the filter thoroughly under running water to remove any remaining dirt and cleaning agent.
  7. Once the nylon filter is completely clean, put it back in its original place in the center hole of the top tank lid. Place the lid on a hard surface (e.g., a table) with the top facing up and carefully push the inlet pipe elbow into the hole so as not to damage the filter.
  8. Screw the top cover with the filter back onto the top opening of the IBC tank and turn the inlet pipe in the desired direction.
  9. We recommend checking the condition of the nylon filter regularly and cleaning it at regular intervals as needed. Keeping the filter clean will ensure that it continues to effectively trap dirt and extend its service life.

Important notice: With regard to spare parts for IBC containers, we would like to point out that there are many types from different manufacturers. These containers differ in terms of drain valves, plugs, and thread pitch. There are therefore a large number of spare part variants.

The accessories listed for containers will only be supplied for types that were purchased from us. We therefore ask you to include the purchase document number at the end of your order. We cannot verify or guarantee compatibility for containers that were not purchased from us.

This measure does not apply to the purchase of spare parts together with IBCs from our range. If you order unsuitable accessories or there are other discrepancies, we will contact you. Thank you for your understanding.
